R. Lee Ingalls
President
R. Lee Ingalls serves as President of the Society of the Ingalls Family and is a descendant of Lansford James Ingalls, brother of Charles Ingalls. A writer and storyteller, Lee is passionate about preserving the experiences of both past and present generations and ensuring our family stories remain available to those who come after us.

Rev. Nicholas Inman
Vice President
Rev. Nicholas Inman serves as Vice President of the Society of the Ingalls Family and has a lifelong connection to the Ingalls and Wilder legacy. As Executive Director of the Laura Ingalls Wilder Home and Museum in Mansfield, Missouri, he brings extensive experience in historic preservation, community leadership, and sharing the stories that connect us to the past.
Laura Ingalls Gunn
Secretary
Laura Ingalls Gunn serves as Secretary of the Society of the Ingalls Family and is a descendant of Lansford “James” Ingalls. An interior designer, writer, historical researcher, and presenter, Laura has dedicated much of her work to preserving and sharing the history, stories, and material culture connected to the Ingalls family.
Candy Ingalls Berghuis
Treasurer
Candy Ingalls Berghuis serves as Treasurer of the Society of the Ingalls Family, bringing 25 years of experience in the financial investment industry to her role. With deep roots in family, hard work, and stewardship, Candy is committed to helping preserve the Ingalls family legacy and supporting the Society’s future with care and integrity.
Jennifer Steffin
At-Large Board Member
Jennifer Steffin serves as an At-Large Board Member of the Society of the Ingalls Family. As a child, Jennifer and her twin sister, Michelle, portrayed Rose Wilder in the final Little House on the Prairie television movies, and years later, family research revealed their own connection to the Ingalls family. She is proud to help carry the family legacy forward for future generations.
Michelle Steffin
At-Large Board Member
Michelle Steffin serves as an At-Large Board Member and supports communications for the Society of the Ingalls Family. As a child, Michelle and her twin sister, Jennifer, portrayed toddler Rose Wilder in the final Little House on the Prairie television movies, and today she is excited to help carry the Ingalls family legacy forward for future generations.
